Spring Florals Watercolor Workshop

In this welcoming beginner/intermediate workshop students will learn to create loose floral elements and paint expressive floral compositions. This workshop will also focus on painting as a way to incorporate mindfulness into your life. Topics covered include a brief overview of mindfulness, brush stroke techniques for watercolor, wet on wet vs. dry on wet, and color mixing. The first half of the class will be spent learning and practicing basic techniques. Students will spend the last portion of the class creating a final piece to take home with them. All materials provided.

  • Hands on, step by step instruction on how to paint loose floral elements

  • A brief introduction to mindfulness and how to practice it through painting with watercolor

  • Yourself, and an eagerness to learn!

  • All paper, tools, painbrushes, and paints will be provided for you to complete your artwork
